This is another great scope I own from PFI, again the field of view is amazing and the built in BDC is spot on with CCI 40gr standard Velocity

Q1: What magnification do I need for long-distance shooting?

A: The level of magnification needed varies based on the distance you are shooting and the size of your target.

Contrary to popular belief, higher magnification is only sometimes better. In general, the longer the distance, the higher the magnification needed.

Q2: What is the difference between first focal plane and second focal plane?

A: The reticle of an FFP scope changes relative to the magnification. The reticle is fixed on an SFP scope, but the target size increases.

The reticle data is only accurate for an SFP scope when the magnification is at a certain level. The data holds true at varying degrees of magnification in FFP scopes, which we produce at PFI.

Q3: What is eye relief and why is it important?

A: Eye relief is the distance between your eye and the ocular lens (the lens on the scope closest to your eye) while the full field of view is visible.

Eye relief is necessary for safe and comfortable shooting, especially with higher-powered rifles. A larger eye relief can help prevent injury from recoil while also helping you acquire your target faster due to a larger field of view.

PFI Scopes are long eye relief.
